Slave Collars

Slave Creation

Players can choose to create a slave character (PC) or turn their character into one by consulting a Slave Clamper in Andunor's West Wheel. Before making such choices, players are advised to thoroughly read the OOC disclaimer to grasp the implications of their decisions. If a character opts for a Slave Collar, they can offer themselves for sale via the Andunor Slave Master in the West Wheel's Slave Pits.

  • Slaves made during character creation cannot align with the good side.

Slave Collar Removal

The only methods to remove a Slave Collar are purchasing freedom or completing a secret quest.

Property Rights for Slaves

Those bearing Slave Collars are limited in their property rights. They can't own standard accommodations but have specific places designated for them or can possess a shop in the Underdark or a vault instead. Surface property ownership is prohibited.

Inactive Masters

Should a slave's master become inactive (by not logging in for a predetermined period), the slave can approach the Slave Master NPC to sever their bond. After meeting the required waiting time, this option becomes available. For technical glitches, a DM can provide assistance.

Relationship Restrictions

Relationships of a sensual, romantic, or intimate nature between slaves and their owners are strictly prohibited due to consent concerns. Any such activities will be considered a PG-13 violation. If this situation arises, the owner should promptly release the slave.

Prisoner Collars

Players can choose to turn their character into a prisoner by consulting the Slave Clamper in Andunor's West Wheel. Before making such choices, players are advised to thoroughly read the OOC disclaimer to grasp the implications of their decisions. A Prisoner Collar can be removed at any time as per the user's preference.

  • Prisoner Collars can be a valuable first pick if you are uncertain about long-term slavery; a Slave Collar is typically a lengthy ordeal.

Advice for Players

Slaves

Slavery in-game necessitates a certain level of OOC consent from the enslaved player. It's advisable for a slave character to communicate OOC, via tells, with a prospective buyer to establish RP boundaries, discuss playtimes, and clarify expectations with potential buyers. If uncomfortable, players can refuse the purchase on an OOC level and convey it believably in RP. If pressured, players can submit a report to the DM for review. This advice is just a suggestion, however, and not a requirement. If a Player prefers a more authentic experience, they may forgo any OOC communication.

Slave Owners

Slave ownership is a significant responsibility and should not be undertaken lightly or for social status. To own a slave means entering an agreement with another player to be a significant part of their story. Consider reaching out to the other player OOC to ensure compatibility regarding playtimes, expectations, and views on slave RP. If there's a mismatch, respect the other player's choice not to be bought by your PC. Avoid forcing actions in-game if the other player is unwilling, as it may lead to negative experiences for both parties. Instead, aim for a positive and collaborative experience with the Slave system.
